Website cost calculator / Published pricing
Website cost calculator for a realistic project range.
Choose the project type, scale, design and functionality to see an indicative GBP range and delivery window. Every result is recalculated on the server using the current published pricing version.
No payment is taken. The result is not a binding quotation.Included in every applicable project
The fundamentals are not optional extras.
- Responsive implementation
- Normal browser and device QA

This is an estimated price range, not a binding quotation. Final scope, cost and delivery timing are confirmed after project review. Timing depends on confirmed scope, content readiness, third-party dependencies and feedback speed. Third-party licences, hosting, domains and API usage are separate where applicable. Applicable taxes, if any, are confirmed before work begins. No payment is taken here.
Website pricing explained
How much does a website cost?
A focused landing page currently starts from £900. A custom business website starts from £1,800, ecommerce from £3,500, and a web application or MVP from £5,000.
These are starting points, not fixed packages. The final website design cost or development cost changes with page count, unique templates, design depth, content, integrations, data and operational responsibility.
What changes the range
The price follows the work the project must perform.
- 01
Project type
A focused marketing page, ecommerce store and custom application begin with different foundations.
- 02
Scale
More unique pages, screens and workflows require more design, implementation and testing.
- 03
Design depth
A clean custom design is included; advanced art direction, motion and reusable UI systems add work.
- 04
Functionality
Accounts, permissions, payments, search, APIs, real-time behaviour and AI features change the system behind the interface.
- 05
Content and migration
Copy, image preparation, localisation and existing data can become a meaningful part of the project.
- 06
Timeline and risk
Priority scheduling, live migrations and fragile third-party dependencies require more control.
Why a range
A responsible estimate is a boundary, not fake precision.
Two projects with the same number of pages can require very different work. The calculator shows a minimum and maximum because unknown content, edge states, integrations and review findings cannot be represented honestly by a single exact number before scope confirmation.
What happens next
The calculator creates a starting point for a real scope review.
When you submit the outline, the server saves the exact pricing version and creates a private estimate link valid for 14 days. I then review the scope directly before any final proposal, contract or payment.
Calculator questions
What the result does—and does not—mean.
Is the calculator result a binding quote?
No. It is an indicative price range based on the selected scope and current published pricing. Final scope, cost and timing are confirmed after review.
Do I need a complete project brief first?
No. Choose the closest options and add the context you already know. Unclear or unusually large scopes are flagged for direct review rather than forced into a false number.
Does my budget selection change the calculated price?
No. The optional budget band is lead context only. The pricing engine does not lower or raise the estimate to match it.
Are hosting, domains and third-party services included?
They are separate unless a final written scope explicitly includes them. This can include hosting, domain registration, paid APIs, licences and provider usage fees.
Can I save the estimate?
Yes. Submitting the project request creates a private signed estimate link. The saved numbers remain tied to their original pricing version and are not silently changed later.
